Stormcoat ARM is a highly durable, smooth matt finish masonry coating based on a pliolite resin binder, which can be applied throughout the year and in low temperature conditions. Becomes showerproof within 30 minutes of application.
Excellent protection from algae and fungal attacks, and extreme conditions. Being of a micro-porous nature, this actually increase the resistance to dirt pick up.
Apply by brush or roller
Coverage: 40-50sq.m per unit. Please remember that if you are applying to a rough finish (particularly pebbledash), that your coverage requirements will be far higher. As a 'rule of thumb', every time you go up and over each stone, you've actually doubled your coverage...!
Supplied in 5 litre units.
Application temperature: Minimum 5oC Touch dry (@ 20oC): 1 hour Hard dry: 3 hours Recoat time: 12 hours Number of parts supplied: 1 Priming required: No

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and other contamination. Unsound surfaces should be scraped back to a sound line and brushed clean, wash with strong bleach solution if bacterial contamination is present. Apply a sealer coat of masonry paint thinned with 15% Stormcoat Thinner if chalky and unsound conditions prevail. Please contact Polycote Technical helpline for relevant Data Sheets.
Do not apply to damp or frosted surfaces, or in wet conditions.
Apply by brush, roller. It is most important that the drum is well stirred before use. Should the surface be particularly porous, add 15% Stormcoat Sealer to the first coat as this will enable a good penetration into the substrate that will obviously help to achieve a maximum seal against the rain, etc. Two full coats will cover most surfaces.
