It is extremely important to remove any loose/friable material from the substrate prior to painting or screeding. Frankly, if the surface is not sound, any subsequent finish is destined to fail!.
Please do however bear in mind that if the surface has soft glue or a build up of oil and grease that this can render the shot ineffective. Should this be the case, please contact our contracts division on 01234 846400 and they be pleased to discuss your requirements.
